Two different barrels were used to create this sweet and warm single malt whisky. American oak Sherry barrels add a delicate taste of vanilla, while European oak barrels provide a spicy taste. After 15 years of maturation, these two exceptional whiskeys unite to form a distinctive single malt, The Macallan 15 years Double Cask.

Tasting note:
- On the nose: Dried fruit, toffee and vanilla with soft oak and baked apple. Balanced with notes of honey and chocolate.
- On the palate: Sweet raisins and sultanas with hints of vanilla, wood spices and citrus.
- Finish: Warm with ginger
