This Cù Bòcan is made with lightly peated Scottish barley, only during the colder winter months and in small quantities. This results in a subtly smoky and surprisingly sweet whisky. The maturation in special barrels of course has further effects.

The Japanese Shochu barrels provide flavors of pear, sweet lime and earthy notes. The European new oak barrels provide flavors of maple syrup, roasted walnuts and exotic herbs.
