Experience the Tomintoul Caribbean Rum Cask, a tribute to the craftsmanship of Master Distiller Robert Flemming, whose family has been producing whiskey in the Speyside-Glenlivet region for four generations. This whiskey is born from the purest waters of the Ballantruan Spring, flowing through the mountains near Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands.
This special Tomintoul is formed by a selection of exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels, finished in hand-selected Caribbean rum barrels. This unique finishing process results in a rich, complex and full-bodied single malt whisky.
Tasting notes:
- On the nose: fresh and clear with aromas of raspberry blossom, coconut oil, Parma violets and custard Danish.
- On the palate: layers of muscovado sugar, ice cream balls and toffee bound with lotus cookies, nougat and coconut cream.
- Finish: sweet butterscotch and chocolate eclairs that fade into a warming cookie-spicy aftertaste.
