Yin Zhen No. 153 White Tea Pure Flavor 50 g

This white tea, 君山银针 in simple Chinese and 君山銀針 in traditional Chinese, is also known as Silver Needle of the Gentlemans Mountain. This tea is grown in the Hunan province of China, where a lot of yellow tea is also grown. That is why these two species are often confused, especially because they have many similar appearances.

Producing this white tea is particularly labor-intensive and time-consuming. Only the youngest, hand-picked buds are used. On average, there are 60,000 buds in 1 kilo of Jun Shan Yin Zhen! These buds are still closed and have a very fine “hairy” structure on the leaf.

Preparation advice:
• Mineral poor water at 80º
• 2 to 3 grams per 300 milliliters
• 12 to 14 grams per liter
• 3 minutes infusion time
